I’m sitting on my porch, and I just finished reading This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune. I tend to enjoy glimpsing at the acknowledgements written at the end of books. As someone who has the idea of writing another book tucked away, I’m curious who editors are, how books are written, and other tidbits writers tend to share here.

Carley Fortune’s took me by surprise. It was different — it centered the idea of having fun. Something I’m embracing this year. A lighter way forward. Listening to myself. Living in my process.
